Make Up Review: Kokuryu Summer Cake Foundation

Hi, loves! This is my very first blog here. Please! Bear with me as I'm still on the stage of "trial and error" thing. :)

Anyway, I'm going to have a review about the famous and affordable Kokuryu Summer Cake Foundation. Have you ever tried this one? If yes, Raise your hands loves! :) And to those who haven't tried it yet. Here's a review. Let's begin. :)

I bought this products last June or July, I guess. And I've already used this twice or thrice, I think. Haha  (I'm not sure loves, I'm sorry) :) So, I've got these two shades:

⚫ JADE (the green one) If I'm not mistaken it is used to color correct all the redness going on the face. (please, correct me if I'm wrong)
ORANGE BLUSH (the orange one) I think this color suites me well. This is a good color for filipinas with Morena Skin tone.

Upper Right: Jade

This is my face before the application:

As you can see, there's so many redness going on my face. I also have pimple marks and blemishes. Plus, I have an combination-oily skin.

The application:

On my face is the
KSCF in Jade
I first apply the Kokuryu Summer Cake in Jade to color correct all the impurities going on my face. As you can see, it does hide almost all of the redness going on my face. Though, there are still some tiny bumps that were not totally concealed.

When the first foundation is completely dry and blended. I apply the second shade which is the Kokuryu Summer Cake Foundation in  Orange Blush. This shade definitely match my skin tone. It does give me a good coverage but tiny bumps till peeking through.

I just completed the rest of my make up and this is my final look. Tentenenen. :)

The foundation was good both in a No Flash Photography and with Flash Photography. Now we'll just test the longevity of the product and how far it will fight or control the oiliness on my face.

P.S : I do not used any setting powder for this review.

After 3 hours:

In this photo, I already finished cooking and eating our dinner. Do some stuffs and run some errands. As you can see, the foundation still looks nice especially on the No Flash photo. Though, with Flash Photography it is visible that pimple marks and dark spots were peeking through.

P.S: I did not do any retouch nor blot my face for the past 3 hours. :)

After 6 hours:

Please excuse my face. :)

This is my last pic for the night. I've already slept because of tiredness. I did some kitchen stuff, give my daughter a bath, ,breastfed her and all. Anyway, for the past 6 hours I can say that the foundation looks good although blemishes and pimple marks were truly visible in both pictures.

Final Thoughts:

◾The foundation has this strong smell, it's not disturbing for me because it will go away in time. But if you're sensitive when it comes to the scent I think it's a No-No for you.

◾ It gives a good coverage but if you're having dry patches going on your face. This is a No-No for you because it will just emphasize the dry stuffs there.

◾ The foundation can last up to 3-4 hours I think depending on the situation and on your skin. A little warning, don't use this foundation if you're going to wear white/bright colored shirts for it has this "orange bleeding" when you perspire.

The Kokuryu Summer Cake Foundation is definitely good and a must try for womens woth combi-oily skin type. For its very affordable price I think it's Worth Trying.
